Danehy, Louise M. (Allen) of Quincy, November 28, 2006. Wife of the late Cornelius P., beloved mother of John C. and his wife Mary of Marshfield, and the late Elaine M. Danehy. Sister of the late Thomas and Edward Allen. Loving grandmother of Erin Spencer, Lauren Kuhn and Elizabeth Danehy. Great grandmother of John and Ann Spencer. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, No. Quincy at 9 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury. Louise was a dance teacher in Boston in the 30’s teaching Tap and Modern dance. She also worked as a traffic manager for Gilchrist’s in the 30’s through the early 40’s, then became and insurance agent with John Hancock in the middle 40’s. She then worked for Survey & Research in Cambridge in the 60’s. Louise was a Cub Scout denmother and was also active with Sacred Heart Sodality and the Golden Wheel Club in Vero Beach, FL Donations in memory of Mrs. Danehy may be made to My Brother’s Keeper P.O.
