Louise A. (Keywan) Handy, of Hingham, died March 6, 2020.

Louise grew up in Connecticut and lived in Nantasket, Braintree and Rockland throughout her life before recently residing in Hingham at Linden Ponds. She participated and volunteered in many activities and clubs. She was a longtime parishioner and volunteer at Cathedral of Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church. She enjoyed tennis and was the epitome of a homemaker. She could often be found knitting, crafting, cooking and caring for her family. She will be deeply missed. 

Beloved wife of the late Col. Edward Handy, MD. Devoted mother of Marsha Kalb and her husband Michael of New Jersey, David Handy and his wife Betsy of Texas, Sheila Lambrenos and her husband Nicholas of Virginia, Ellen Oliverio and her husband John of Weymouth and Dorothy Handy-Eovine and her husband Anthony of Texas. Cherished “Sitoo” of 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Thursday 5-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Burial service in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne will be for invited family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Louise may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
