DiStefano, Louis R. of Quincy, March 12, 2002. The beloved husband of 59 years to Concetta C. (Blanco) DiStefano of Quincy. Loving father of James F. DiStefano of Braintree and John F. DiStefano of Quincy and the late Karen M. DiStefano. Brother of Pasquale DiStefano of Manomet, Mary Pilalis, Catherine McNally & Margaret DiStefano all of Quincy, and the late Ann Olson , Nicholas & Bernard DiStefano. Devoted Grandfather of Paul J., Heather M. and Eric J. DiStefano all of Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Friday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-9 PM. Burial in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Boston. Louis was a pipefitter for over 37 years. He worked at Hood Rubber for 27 years and then at Barry Wright company for 10 years before retiring in 1995. Donations in memory of Mr. DiStefano may be made to Disabled American Veterans c/o Nickerson Post, 20 Moon Island Road, Quincy, MA 02171. Mr. DiStefano was a POW during WWII and was an active member of the South East Chapter of POW. He was an Army Veteran and fought in the Battle of the Bulge.
