Louis J. Guarente, Sr.

Guarente, Louis J., Sr. of Quincy, passed away March 30, 2017.

Lou was born in Boston. He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. Lou worked for the Boston Police Department for many years, where he later retired. He will be sadly missed.

Dear husband to the late Michelina (Rizzo) Guarente. Beloved father to Louis J. Guarente, Jr and his wife Barbara of Quincy, Marilyn Mollenhauer and her husband Robert of PA, and Michael Guarente of Quincy. Predeceased by 4 siblings. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday 9-10 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Boston.
