Manni, Louis A. Of Quincy formerly of Boston’s North End, February 28, 2010. Beloved husband of Edith (Marotta) Manni of Quincy. Loving father of Louis A Manni,Jr., of Quincy, Michael O. Manni of Middletown, Verna A. Manni Bervard of Walpole, Maria Festa of Cape Coral, FL, Annette Creelman of East Providence, RI. Brother of Teresa Matarazzo of Revere, Ida DiPasquale of Boston, North End and the late Angelo, Anthony, Emma, Gina and Marie. Louis is also lovingly survived by 9 grandchildren. Louis was born and raised in Boston’s North End. Louis lived in Quincy for the past 10 years. Louis was a lifelong member of the Forty and Eight American Legion. Louis was the former National Vice President for the New England Region Postal Carriers Union. Louis was a driving Instructor for the United States Postal Service. Louis enjoyed cooking and loved to shop. Louis was a devoted family man and will be missed by all who knew him. WWII and Korean War Veteran. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:15AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Leonard’s of Port Maurice Church, Corner of Hanover and Prince Street, Boston at 9:45 AM. Cremation to follow. Donations in memory of Louis may be made to Disabled American Veterans, State House – Room 546, Boston, MA 02133 or The Home for Little Wanderers, 161 So. Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
