Cogliano, Louis A of Quincy, died December 20, 2012. Beloved husband of Alice (Scanlon) Cogliano of Quincy. Loving father of Kevin F. Cogliano and his wife Lisa of Weymouth and Kathleen A. Cogliano of Quincy. Brother of the late Louise LaVerde, Phillip, Dominic , Vincent and John Cogliano. Brother in law of Tillie Cogliano of Everett and Joan Cogliano of CT. Uncle and godfather of Tonia Schramm of Everett and Steven Cogliano of West Newbury. Louis is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Louis was born in Boston and lived most of his life in Quincy. He worked ro the Federal Government for 38 years as an accountant and auditor at the Defense Department in Boston before retiring in 1986. Louis was a decorated WWII Army Veteran. He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans and Life member of Quincy Knights of Columbus. Louis was a very faithful man and a devoted Catholic. He was a Minister Prefect and organizer of the Third Order at Saint Anthony Shrine in Boston in 1954. Most of all Louis loved his family and will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:45am on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 11:30 AM. Burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton. Donations in memory of Louis may be made to St. Anthonys Shrine, 100 Arch Street, Boston, MA 02110.
