Lorraine P. Flipp

Lorraine P. (Toland) Flipp of Marshfield died peacefully at home on Monday, September 16, 2013. She was 49.

Lorraine worked as a home health aide for many years caring and supporting all those she met. Lorraine was a free spirit who enjoyed the simple things in life. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Her main passion was her three children and her granddaughters. 

Lorraine will be remembered as the devoted mother of Caitlyn Breen and her husband Matt of Rockland, Lindsay Flipp, WPD of Weymouth and Lucas Zeb Flipp of Marshfield, the loving “Nana” to Emma and Madison; and the wife of Bruce Flipp. The cherished daughter of Rita (O’Leary) of Weymouth, and the late Francis J. Toland and the beloved sister of Frank Toland and his wife Sue of SC, Cathy Belliveau and her husband Brian of Harwich, Ann Marie Prouty and her husband Ken of Plymouth, Carol Bresnahan and her husband Michael of Weymouth, Dana Toland of Weymouth, and the late Rita Toland. She is survived by Chauncy Burns and his wife Renee of Randolph and was the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rt. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM.
