Lorraine E. Crayton

Crayton, Lorraine E. (Thomas) of Weymouth, died on January 7, 2015 after a brief illness. 

Wife of the late Willard Crayton. Cherished mother of Barbara Braccia of South Weymouth, Scott Crayton of S. Weymouth, Dawn Crayton of Marshfield, Walter Crayton of Billerica, Fatima King Crayton of New York, Hakeen Crayton and Melissa Crayton both of Weymouth and Nicole Crayton of Marlborough. Sister of Donnie Thomas of FL and the late Arthur Thomas and Justine Pettet. Lorraine is also survived by her 3 nieces, Debbie, Wendy and Bonnie and her nephew Adam and  her 3 grandchildren, Christina, Zackary and Aidan. Also survived by several grand nieces and nephews

Lorraine was a dedicated foster parent who cared for hundreds of children through the years. She truly enjoyed caring and raising the children in her care. She loved to read and play cards. She also found time to care for her cats, & dogs which she enjoyed. Lorraine was dedicated to her family, they were all that was truly important to her. She will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have had her in their lives.  The family would to thank Jill, Gary and Chris Pula and her dear friend Sylvia for the wonderful care extended to her, they will be forever grateful for your kindness. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 6-8pm in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  A Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday evening at 8pm. Private burial in Blue Hill Cemetery.
