Lorraine C. Flanagan

Hingham – Lorraine (Sis) C . (McLeod) Flanagan, age 93, died peacefully on Sunday afternoon, February 4, at Sunrise of Cohasset, after a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Flanagan.
Lorraine was born in South Boston on June 3, 1930, a daughter of the late Frank C and Mary (Magee) McLeod. She was raised and educated in South Boston. Lorraine worked in the family store in Andrew Square, Hugh Nawn Construction in Dorchester, De Stefano Company in South Boston, and Progressive Packaging and Sales in Dorchester Lower Mills and Weymouth.
Religion was an important aspect of Lorraine’s life. She was a communicant at St. Alberts Church in Weymouth and Resurrection Church in Hingham. Lorraine enjoyed taking care of her home, traveling, and spending time with her family. She leaves her 3 children and their spouses: Paul F of Hingham, Catherine M Gorman and her husband Ken of Durham NC, James L and his wife Paula Flanagan of Hingham. She was grandmother of Erin, Mary, Kristen, Moira, Bridget, and Margaret. She also had three great grandchildren: Samantha, Kelly, and Kaylynn. She was sister of Joseph McLeod, and the late Frank, Paul, Edward, Richard, and John McLeod and Ethel McNamara; and leaves many nieces and nephews and Godchildren.
Visiting hours are 9:00 – 10:00 at Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St, Hingham, MA 02043. The viewing will be followed by a funeral service. Burial will be at the National Cemetery in Bourne.
