Perrault, Lorraine A. (Bond) of Weymouth, died peacefully at Hancock Park in Quincy on July 16, 2014.
Lorraine was born, raised, and educated in Fall River where she attended and graduated Dominican Academy. She and Albert D. Perrault married while he was in the Army during World War II and then they settled in S. Weymouth to raise a family. Lorraine worked as a teller at Baybank for 8 years and as a realtor for Jack Conway Realty for 10 years. One of her greatest accomplishments occurred in 1991 when at age seventy she received her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Bridgewater State College, graduating magna cum laude. Lorraine loved reading, was very interested in politics, spoke French fluently and was very involved at St. Francis Xavier Church in Weymouth.
Lorraine was predeceased by Albert, her loving husband of 56 years. Lorraine is survived by her beloved children, Andrea M. Perrault of Lynn, Alan D. Perrault and his wife Joan of Hingham and Denise A. Perrault of South Dennis, her 3 cherished grandchildren Daniel, Steven, and Brian. Lorraine was 1 of 7 children and is survived by her sister Edna Pinkos of Somerset, in-laws Helen Groden, Pat Duval, Sr. Jeanne Perrault SMSM, Robert Perrault and his wife Beverly, Joan Carter, Eli Perrault and his wife Mary Ellen and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
Donations in memory of Lorraine may be made to Alzheimers Assn., MA Chapter, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
