Lorna L. Mackay

Lorna L. MacKay of Weymouth, formerly of Jamaica Plain, died February 19, 2023 at the age of 79.

Lorna’s faith was central to her life. She loved attending Mass and praying the rosary on a daily basis. She enjoyed drawing, painting and dining with her family. She will be remembered for her kind spirit.

She was the daughter of the late Evelyn Marie (Fournier) and Calvin O. MacKay. Loving sister of Sally Schworm-MacKay and her wife Linda of Weymouth; Frances MacKay of Kansas; the late Anzel MacKay; the late Ronald MacKay; and the late Clarence “Keo” MacKay. Cherished aunt of Michael MacKay and his wife Holly of Weymouth; Steven MacKay and his fiancée Jamie of Millis; Scott MacKay of Millis; and Kelly Chouinard and her husband Matt of Ashland. Stepsister of Kenneth MacKay.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday from 9:15 AM – 10:30 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth Landing Friday at 11 AM. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
