Loretta Macdonald

Loretta MacDonald of Quincy, peacefully passed away March 16, 2024

Loretta is survived by her 3 nephews – Wesley, Jason & Justin and one niece – Meghan and her other niece Jessica passed away in January 2019.
She was a fantastic dog mom to Gracie and Babe (both deceased) and loved her daily walks with them. She was a lover of all things music and played multiple instruments including the guitar, piano, mandelin, banjo, and fiddle. She loved singing, especially country music, and singing with her friends and family. She loved spending summers in New Brunswick, Canada with her family and going to the Canadian Club on Friday nights with her cousin Lorraine and best friend Genie to listen to fiddle music. She had two siblings, Jack who was married to June and Rich who was married to Karen. She was very close with her mother, Veronica (Doddy) and father, John MacDonald. Loretta went to school for and pursued stenography as her career.

She was dearly loved and adored by her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
