Lois C. Burton

Burton, Lois C. of Quincy, passed away February 6, 2012. Beloved sister of William “Bill” H. Burton and his wife Sally of Pembroke and the late Mary A. Stub. Loving Aunt of Andrea Cash of MD, Karen Oriola and her husband Ron of Canton, Lyn Finn and her husband John of Marstons Mills and Roban Hickey and her husband Rich of Rockland. Lois was also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Lois was born and raised in Medford. She was a graduate of Medford High School. Lois worked as an Executive Secretary for the Federal Government for over 30 years. She was a member of the Quincy Historical Society and volunteered for many years at Quincy City Hospital. Lois enjoyed socializing with friends, traveling the world and bowling. Most of all Lois cherished spending time with her family who were the cornerstone of her life. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
