Lois A. Pimentel

Pimentel, Lois A. (Joy) of Quincy, died April 20, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. 

Lois had a love for the beach which contributed to her life long residency in Squantum, MA and her many trips to Cape Cod and Marco Island.  Lois was employed as a medical transcriptionist most of her adult life. Lois’ main passion was her family and spending time with those she loved especially her grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.  

Beloved wife of 55 years of Robert Pimentel of Quincy. Loving mother of Robert G. Pimentel and his wife Deborah of Townsend, Michael P. Pimentel and his wife Sherri of Duxbury, Joy C. Hilliard and her husband James of Bridgewater and Daniel A. Pimentel and his wife Sandra of Weymouth.  Devoted Nana of Ashley, Kaelyn, Jillian, Michael, Robert, Lauren, Emily, Kelly and Daniel.  Caring sister of Kenneth Joy of South Carolina and the late Beverly Ayers and Joseph M. Joy Jr.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 9 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
