Light, Lloyd J. of Weymouth, passed away May 9, 2017.

Lloyd spent most of his life as a Quincy resident, later moving to Weymouth. Lloyd worked for many years as a Sheet Metal Worker for the Local 17 and was a member of the Weymouth Elks. Known to his friends as “Lovable Lloyd the working man’s friend”. Yard work and dancing were some of his favorite past times. A genuine hard worker and an amazing cook, Lloyd will be missed dearly.

Beloved husband and companion for 32 years to Marjorie A. (Scott) Light of Weymouth. Father of Lloyd Jr., Laura, Lynn and Joseph. Brother of Ernie Light and predeceased by his siblings Al and Peter Light. Grandfather of several grandchildren and also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea St.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Lloyd to: South Shore VNA, 30 Reservoir Park Dr, Rockland, MA 02370.
