Lisa E. (Hellasted) DeCristofaro, the National Sales Manager for toy manufacturer International Playthings, died suddenly at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH on July 13, 2009. She was 48. Born and raised in Quincy, Lisa graduated from Quincy High School in 1978. She attended Bridgewater State College and studied fashion in Paris. She worked in the toy industry for many years serving 20 years with Mattel. More recently, she took over national sales for International Playthings. Lisa and her family only recently decided to permanently move from Rockland to their vacation home on Sunrise Lake in Middleton, NH. She often said that it was her “happy place”. She was a longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church in Quincy and a longtime supporter of Camp Calumet in West Ossipee, NH. Lisa was the devoted wife of 23 years to David DeCristofaro, the very loving mother of Damara DeCristofaro of RI and Danette DeCristofaro of Middleton and the beloved daughter Vivian McLeod of Quincy. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Friday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Service in Faith Lutheran Church at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.
