Linda May (Valentine) Croxen

Croxen, Linda May (Valentine) of Quincy, died April 6, 2014.

Linda grew up in Boston on Mass Ave.  She resided in Roxbury for many years while raising her children before finally settling in Quincy. She was an exceptionally strong, woman with an even stronger  faith who truly believed in the power of prayer. Linda also loved to exercise her natural artistic gifts as she appreciated the arts in all forms. Longtime employee of Blue Cross Blue Shield and ultimately retired in 2005  from Lappens Auto Parts in Quincy. She will be sadly missed by the family and friends she was devoted to and now leaves behind. 

Beloved wife of the late Charles E. Croxen. Devoted mother of Larinda Croxen of Weymouth, Charlotte Croxen of Stoughton and Michelle Maxwell and her husband Robert of Brockton. Cherished “Nana” of 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Loving sister of Joyce Santos of FL, Elaine Caldwell of Jamaica Plain, Howard Valentine of Dorchester, Kenneth Valentine of CA and the late Bruce Valentine. Cousin and dear friend of Roberta (Lynn) Tolber of Brockton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral service on Sunday at 3 PM in Keys of the Kingdom Tabernacle of Prayer for All People Church, 33 North Main Street, Brockton, Ma 02301. Relatives and friends will gather at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Quincy on Monday at 10:30 AM to proceed to Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy for burial at 11 AM.
