Beloved sister of Ann Salisbury and her husband Tom of Malvern, AR. Loving aunt of Heather Salisbury of Chicago, IL, Elizabeth Warren of Nashville, TN, Thomas Salisbury of Houston, TX and Catherine Salisbury, MD of Atlanta, GA. Dearest friend of Sheila Lunnin of Braintree and Rebecca Larner of NC.
Linda was born and educated in Boston, graduating from Monsignor Ryan Memorial High School and University of Massachusetts Boston. She worked for over 20 years for the Commonwealth of Mass. as a Social Security Disability Examiner before retiring in 2004. She enjoyed traveling and traveled abroad to Israel, Ireland and Greece. Linda was an avid horse back rider, riding for many years at Saddle Rowe Stables. She was a former board member for WGBH in Boston and Elizabeth Ann Seton Academy. Linda worked with the inner city youth at the Watson House in Cambridge. Linda will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Thursday 4 PM – 8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10:00 AM. Burial in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Boston.
