Mrs. Linda Kane-Hitchcock, of Washington, DC, passed away on February 1, 2022. 

She was the loving and supportive Mother of Grace Hitchcock, Daughter of Catherine Boyce and John Kane, Sister of Rosemary Byrne, Lawrence Kane, and Henry Kane. 

Linda was first and foremost a devoted and compassionate mother to Grace. Always supportive, and always there, Linda was the most amazing mother and took great pride in the daughter she raised. Linda grew up in Weymouth, MA, and attended Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree, MA. She continued her education at the Rhode Island School of Design, where she earned a degree in Graphic Design. 

Linda had a flourishing and illustrious career as a creative director and graphic designer for broadcast new stations across the country in Iowa, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Washington, DC. Throughout her career, she won numerous local Emmy awards for her leadership and artistic genius in station rebrands, broadcast packages, and more. Linda Hitchcock most recently worked at Tellapure, a startup technology company based in Northern Virginia. Linda’s exceptional skill and talent helped shape and brand Tellapure from a concept to a globally recognized technology company. Her leadership and creativity set her apart from others, and her work will be forever remembered.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours of on Friday from 10-11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home South Weymouth at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp.) So. Shore Hospital), followed by her Funeral Service at 11 AM Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
