Linda L. Gale

Linda L. Gale, a beacon of generosity and love, passed away on August 28, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of selflessness and deep familial bonds. Linda was born in Boston to the late John and Doris Bastey. She was raised in Squantum, lived in Peachtree City for 27 years and spent her later years in East Bridgewater.

Born into a world where she would become the cornerstone of her family, Linda's life was a testament to the power of love and dedication. She was the beloved wife of George S. Gale, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories. As a devoted mother, her nurturing spirit shone brightly through her children, Tracey Briggs and Timmy of East Bridgewater, and Gregory Gale and Katie of Scottsdale, Arizona. Linda's role as a grandmother was one she held dear, her joy multiplied through her grandchildren, Kai and Tatum Gale of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Abigale Briggs of East Bridgewater. She was also a caring aunt to Laurie, Kerry, Kimberly, and Jaime, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Linda's sister, Joan Galvin, predeceased her, leaving a space that Linda filled with remembrances and honor.

Professionally, Linda's career was marked by her meticulous work in payroll for several businesses, including Northeast Airlines, Sears Roebuck, and Delta Global Services. Her commitment to her work was paralleled only by her ability to forge lasting friendships with her colleagues.

Above all, Linda's interests always circled back to her family, which stood as the most important aspect of her life. Her home was a hub of love and laughter, a place where friends, who often became like family, were always welcome.
