Linda A. Daley

Linda A. Daley, of Braintree, formerly of Andover, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, at the age of 79. Born to the late Robert and Olga Connolly, she grew up in Neponset and graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School. Linda's professional life was marked by her commitment and hard work, first working at New England Telephone, then as a food service manager at The Canteen Corp. and later working in accounts payable for Acme Printing Company.

Family was the cornerstone of Linda's life. She was the beloved wife of the late Terence F. Daley, with whom she shared fifty-five years of marriage. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Kim (Daley) Santos, her husband Dave, and their children Ashley, Nicole, and Kara; her son Mike Daley and his children Ryan and Emma; and her son Bob Daley, his wife Andrea (Marino) Daley, and their children Andrew, Derek, and Robbie. Linda's legacy continues through the lives of her eight grandchildren, whom she adored.

Linda was a loving sister to her three siblings, Bob Connolly of Milton, his wife Maureen, Brian Connolly of Bonita Springs, FL, his wife Patty and Deb Connolly of Quincy, her partner Brian. Linda’s extended family of nieces and nephews also held a special place in her heart. She was predeceased by her daughter Mary Ann Daley.

Linda found joy in spending time at her condo in Naples, Florida. She relished the opportunity to enjoy an expresso martini and lunch out with friends and family. Linda was a familiar face at sporting events over the years, proudly cheering on her children and grandchildren from the sidelines. Linda was known to be a funny and loving woman who was very proud of her family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday 3/30/2025 from 3-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday 3/31/2025 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM.
