Linda Ann (Hill) (Purdy) Belton

Linda Ann (Hill) (Purdy) Belton of Braintree, passed away at South Shore Hospital on September 27, 2023. She was 72 years old.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Josephine Hill (Novak) and Charles Hill. Linda was a 1970 graduate of Girls Trade in Boston. Linda worked many years as a school bus driver driving special needs children to various schools. She worked first for Park Transportation, then many years for YCN Transportation before retiring. One of her favorite activities was getting her weekly scratch tickets and an occasional trip to a casino.

Beloved wife of Mark Belton of Braintree. Cherished mother of Jennifer Hutchins and her husband John of Braintree, Daniel Purdy and Charleen Gale of East Bridgewater, Annemarie Grant (James) of Quincy, Katlyn and Mark Belton of Braintree and the late Thomas Purdy.

Loving grandmother of Alyssa, Kerri-Anne, Bryan, Skyla, Joshua, and Conor. Loving great grandmother to Ellie. Dear sister of Kathy Hill of Concord, NH. Linda will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 10/3 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
