MacLeod, Linda Ann “Auntie Linna” of Norwell, passed away in her home November 3, 2015.  

Daughter of the late Angus Neil and E. Lorraine (Collins) MacLeod.  Loving sister of Neil MacLeod and his wife Bette of Plymouth, John MacLeod and his wife Joanne, Elaine Garvey and her husband Jerry of Marshfield, Jeannine Cogburn and her husband Bruce of Kingston, Joanne Vivona of Norwell and the late Scott D. MacLeod.  Linda is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.  She will especially be missed by her loving dog and companion, Snuggles. 

Linda was an avid Red Sox fan.  She was 1974 graduate of Norwell High School and received her teaching degree from Boston State College.  Linda taught elementary school in Savanah, GA for 5 years before moving to Lawrence, MA where she continued educating children  for an additional 28 years before retiring in 2013.  During her retirement years, she worked as a substitute teacher in the Norwell Public Schools. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:00 AM Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Helen Church, Norwell at 9:00AM. Burial will follow in Washington Street Cemetery, Norwell.
