Lillian W. Gallo

Gallo, Lillian W. (Walsh)of Hull formerly of Hingham, October 7, 2009 surrounded by her daughters. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Gallo. Loving mother of Katharine M.”Kathy” Gallo of Hull and Lorraine G.”Rainey” Bermingham of Weymouth. Sister of James Walsh and his wife Rita of Weymouth, Katharine Sonnenberg of Woburn, Marion Walsh of Waltham and the late John Walsh. Devoted grandmother of Sarah, Joseph and Kathryn Bermingham all of Weymouth. Lillian was also lovingly survived by many family members, nieces and nephews and close friends. Lillian was born in Cambridge and was a graduate of Arlington High School. Lillian worked as a bookeeper for Isam Mitchell Lumber company in Brockton for 20 years before retiring in 1995. She lived in Hingham for many years before moving to Hull five years ago. Lillian had a love for the Ocean, she enjoyed cooking and reading. Lillian was a devoted Catholic, her Catholic faith was a very important part of her life. Most of all Lillian loved her family, she was a loving mother and grandmother. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Sunday 2- 6PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45AM on Monday, prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10:30 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Donations in memory of Lillian may be made to Sacred Heart High School, 399 Bishops Highway, Kingston, MA 02364.
