Lillian Mary (Riel) Killion

Lillian Mary (Riel) Killion, born April 19, 1923 in Springfield, Massachusetts to Bernadette (Desautels) Riel and George Louis Riel passed away on November 29, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio. 

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Ret. Maj. William Joseph Killion of Dorchester, Massachusetts, her sisters Anna Mae “Toots” (Riel) Jordie and and Rita Jeanette (Riel) Tremble and by her brother Armand Riel, all of Springfield, Massachusetts.  Lillian is survived by her son, William Francis Killion and his wife Alese (Clark) of Billerica, Massachusetts, her daughter, Donna Theresa Killion of Columbus, Ohio and four grandchildren: Brandon M. Killion of Miami, Florida, Angelica J. White of Columbus, Ohio, John K. White of Columbus, Ohio and U.S. Army PSC Jason W. Killion of Ft. Lee, Virginia.  Lillian had friends everywhere. 

She was often told her smile would light up a room.  Her many talents consisted of embroidering, crafting, catering, drawing, beading, tossing pizza dough in the air and beating people at Gin Rummy.  Lillian stayed with us for 90 years and she will be greatly missed by all the people whose lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 11:30 AM in McDonald Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hosptial).  Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 2:00 PM.
