Lillian F. Kilroy

Lillian F. “Lil” (Reardon) Kilroy, of Weymouth since 1953, raised in Dorchester, entered into eternal life on January 9, 2018. Lil was 91.

Lil worked for New England Telephone. She retired in 1991. She was a parishioner of the Sacred Heart Church and member of Our Lady’s Sodality and the Mother’s Club at the Sacred Heart School. Lil was a volunteer at South Shore Hospital for many years.

Lil was the beloved wife and best friend of the late James P. Kilroy for 69 years. Devoted mother of James P. Kilroy, Jr. of Marshfield, Stephen Kilroy of Chatham, Ellen T. Veelenturf and her husband Robert of Norfolk, and Lorraine Quinn and her husband Michael of Weymouth. Grandmother of Jeffrey, Stacie, Ryan, Beth, Michael, Casey and Callie. Also survived by 8 great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Edna Duncan of Braintree, John Reardon of PA and the late Marie Treska, Arthur, Joe and Paul Reardon. Lil also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-5 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10 AM.

Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
