Lillian F. Colligan

Colligan, Lillian F. (McManaman) of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died on July 20, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Peter J. Colligan. Devoted mother of Joseph P. Colligan and his wife Leslie of Dedham. Loving sister of the late Mary G. McManaman of Dedham. Cherished Nana of 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Lillian was born in Boston and grew up in Dorchester, attending Roxbury Memorial High School. She later lived in Quincy for over 60 years. She was an avid bingo player and loved being around people. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and socializing with neighbors and friends. Her family describes her as a wonderful woman with a great laugh. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Thursday from 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Friday, prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint John’s Church at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in memory of Lillian may be made to St. John’s Church, 44 School Street, Quincy, MA 02169.
