Lillian E. Davis

Davis, Lillian E. of Weymouth, died June 20, 2013. She was 85. In her early years, Lillian worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston and later in the Weymouth Public School system as a teacher’s aide for 15 years. She was an active parishioner of the Faith Lutheran Church in Quincy. Her love for the beach and swimming led to summering in Cape Cod with family and friends. Lillian enjoyed dancing and was active in aerobics until only a few weeks ago. Her family was the foundation of all that was important to her and she will be sadly missed. 

Beloved wife of the late Harry E. Davis, Jr.. Devoted mother of Karin Sullivan and her husband George of Weymouth, Kristina Johnson and her husband Larry of Hingham, Karl Davis and his wife Tez of FL, Kirk Davis and his wife Jackie of Weymouth and Kim Hastry and her husband Joe of Marshfield. Cherished “Gram/Mimi” of 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Loving sister of the late Daniel Forsgren.  

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.)  Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Monday at 10 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Donations in memory of Lillian may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church, 201 Granite Street, Quincy, MA 02169.
