Leslie J. Thorton

Thornton, Leslie J. of Quincy, died January 22, 2014 at the age of 104.

Beloved husband of the late and Margaret (Ryan) Thortnon and Beatrice Thornton.  Father of Pamela Sueffert of Pennsylvania and the late Carole Canty.  Uncle of Edward J. McNelley and his wife Joan of North Reading.  Grandfather of Sue Ellen Canty and great-grandfather of Cameron and McKenzie Canty.  Leslie is also survived by many grandchildren. 

Mr. Thornton born in Boston and lived in Quincy most of his life.  He worked for Boston Gas Company for many years before retiring.  He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday 10:30-11:15 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 11:30 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
