Leonora A. “Lee” Coose

Coose, Leonora A. “Lee”,  on the evening of Jan. 27, 2015 Lee passed away peacefully at John Adams Health Care Center in Quincy, Ma.  Lee was 87 years old.  Lee was born in Quincy to Christopher and Julia Gleeson. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Weymouth.  After graduation she worked as a secretary, most notably as the secretary for the mayor of Warwick, RI.  She later worked as a sales clerk at Kennedy’s Clothing for over 20 years.  She liked to cross-stitch, do crewel and play cards.

Lee was predeceased in death by her husband, Harold W. Coose Jr., her son Harold W. Coose III and her sister Ellen Kelly.

Lee is survived by her children:  Debra Page and her husband Richard of Bennington, NH; Richard Coose and his wife Stephanie of Easton, MA; William Coose and his wife Nancy of Braintree, MA; Ingrid Coose of Watertown, NY; nine grandchildren:  Christopher Coose and his wife Codi, Cory Coose, Dennis Page, Samantha Coose, Matthew Coose, Evan Coose, Rachel Coose and Sean Coose, and several nieces and nephews.  Lee will be remembered as a strong, hard-working, determined woman who wanted the best for her family.

The family would like to thank the staff at John Adams Healthcare Center for their care and friendship. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 6-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association.
