Leonard T. Delorey

DeLorey, Leonard T. of Braintree, formerly of Quincy, Roslindale & Dorchester, July 13, 2006. Beloved husband of Claire (Riley) DeLorey. Loving father of Kevin of Bourne, Thomas & his wife Karen of Glenville, NY and Karen & her husband John Moylan of Marshfield. Devoted grandfather of Ryan, Michael, Siobhan, Hailey, Kelly, Daniel and Clare. Brother of Lawrence of Hanover and the late Charles. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Brendan Church, Dorchester at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Len worked as a social worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and served as the Director of Welfare in Quincy. After retiring, he worked for Long Term Care in Taunton and South Shore Elder Services. He was an active member of the South Shore Camera Club and was passionate about photography and digital editing. His intellectual drive led him to learn the Italian language on his own. He was well versed in many areas, including architecture and politics. Len was a proud graduate of Boston College. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
