Grasso, Leonard “Leo” J. of Quincy, July 18, 2004. The Beloved Husband of 63 years to Nancy A. ( Solazzo) Grasso. Loving Father of Leonard J. Grasso, Jr., Retired MCPO, US Navy of CA and Rev. Anthony R. Grasso, CSC of Wilkes Barre, PA. English Professor at Kings College. Devoted Grandfather of Leonard J. Grasso, III. Michael D. Grasso. U.S. Navy, CSSN- USS Montery and Nicholas A. Grasso. Brother of Lena Beiderman, Flora Malacaso and Jim Grasso all of East Boston, Yolanda Roycroft of Revere and the late Josie Aufiero, Rita DiGloria, Carmella Mastrorio, Mary Forziati and Patsy Grasso. Brother in Law of Mrs. Marie Schilling and family of Weymouth and Frank Solazzo and family of St. Petersburg, FL.Member of the Holy Name Society at St. John’s Church and was an usher at St. Ann’s Church in Wollaston. Mr. Grasso was also on the board of directors for the Boy Scouts. Leo worked for Pneumatic Scale in North Quincy for many years retiring back in 1985. After he retired from Pneumatic Scale he worked part-time for Friendly’s on Independance Ave. as a cook from 1985 to 1990. He loved to cook for his family and they can remember what a wonderful cook he was. Leo loved to travel with his wife Nancy and they would travel around the country visiting their sons, Leonard was a United States Navy CMC their other son Rev. Anthony Grasso was a professor and taught in various locations. Leo was an avid Red Sox fan. He enjoyed bowling. He was a devoted Husband and loving father and his passion was his family and friends. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He has been married to his wife Nancy for the past 63 years.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Mr. Grasso may be made to St. Ann’s Parish, 757 Hancock St. Wollaston, MA 02170. WWII Army Veteran.
