Leonard E. Cole

Leonard E. Cole of Weymouth, died April 28, 2015 at the age of 89.

Leonard served in the United States Marine Corps during WWII. He worked for the Town of Weymouth as a truck driver for 36 years. He was a hard worker who took pride in providing for his family. In his free time, he enjoyed going to the dog track.

Beloved husband of the late Joyce Cole. Loving father of Lenny Cole of Hull, Wanda Thomas of Barnwell, SC, Karen Cole of Weymouth and the late Joyce Jenkins. Brother of the late Myrtle. Grandfather of Heather and Chad Jenkins and Aerial, Zachary and Jeremy Thomas. Great grandfather of Colton, Noah, Lana and Paige.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.).  Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial in Village Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations in memory of Leonard may be made to Pilgrim Congregational Church, 24 Athens St., Weymouth, MA 02191.
