McMahon, Leonard A. of Quincy May 21, 2003. Husband of the late Geraldine (Crowley) McMahon. Loving father of Martha J. McMahon of Milton. Brother of Arthur F. McMahon of Quincy, Rev. Albert McMahon, OFM of CT, Ruth Caronia/Biche of NJ, Regina McMahon of Wollaston and the late Lucille Batchelder, Richard and William McMahon. Leonard is also survived by many nieces, nephews , grand nieces & grand nephews and his dear friend Peg Batchelder of Quincy. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Mr. McMahon was a civil, structural and cost engineer he died on Wednesday, May 21 at Marina Bay Nursing Home in Squantum. Born in Wollaston, he graduated from Boston College High School, from Brown University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. He received his Masters Degree from Northeastern University in Engineering. Leonard worked for several firms including Sverdrup and Parcel, from which he retired. Leonard was the Author the book ” the McMahon Guide to Heavy Works Construction” a cost estimate guide, he was a member of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering and spoke at several of the Association meetings. He also loved golf, traveling and photography, and had a great sense of humor.
