Leo T. “Sonny” Maher

Maher, Leo T. “Sonny” of Quincy May 28, 2004. Beloved husband of Virginia (Hussey) Maher. Loving son of Dorothy (Peecha) Maher of Quincy and the late Leo T. Maher. Loving father of Kenneth L. Maher of Schaumburg, IL, and William T. Maher of Quincy. Loving grandfather of Colin Maher. Brother of Dorothy “Tootie” Grindstaff of Halifax, Thomas Maher of Quincy and Sandra Wadinsky of South Boston. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Boniface Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 3-7 PM. Cremation will follow.”Sonny” served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1964. He worked as a surveyor for General Dynamics for 17 years and more recently, he worked as a custodian for the Quincy School System.
