Leo R. Walsh

Leo R. Walsh of Quincy, died July 22, 2023. Dear friend of his former wife the late Marjorie Grace. Loving father of  Judy McDonough and her husband Joe of West Wareham, Rita Sheridan and her husband John of Whitman, Catherine Pitts and her husband William of Stoneham and the late Leo R. Walsh, Jr. Brother of Donald Stoddard of Rockland and the late Frank Stoddard. Cherished Grandpa of James, Jennifer, Richard, Meghan, Allison, Devin, Jessica, Jack and Matthew. Great Grandpa of Emily, Sean, Seamus, Freya, Scarlett, Ryan, Natalie, Olivia, Christian and Drew. Leo is pre-deceased by the love of his life Rose Dunlea. 

Leo was a hard worker with a strong work ethic. He was very proud of his Irish heritage. Leo loved the Red Sox, but nothing was more important then his family. He was very proud oh his 3 daughters, but nothing gave him more joy than his 9 grandchildren and his 10 great grandchildren. He adored all of them. They all brought so much joy into his life. Leo will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known him. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8pm in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH, 40 Sea St. (Off Rt.3A- Bicknell Square) 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
