Leo Poy Kong Lew

Leo Poy Kong Lew, formally of Weymouth, passed away suddenly on March 5th, 2023. He was 90 years old.

Born in Boston he was the son of the late Wing Jong Lew and Pon How Lee. He enjoyed learning and had earned his  Masters Degree plus 60 years of education in Boston area colleges including Curry and Cambridge College. He was a movie buff and loved all types of movies but his favorites to watch were old Westerns, Musicals and Martial Arts movies. Leo loved to travel and had visited many destinations over the course of his life.

He was the beloved husband of Mei Lew and the devoted father of Daniel. He was the brother of May Zaborski and Tommy Lew and the late Kan Shu Lew, Mary Woo, Jennie Semler, Johnny Lew, Billy Lew, Kan Toy Lew, Nancy Fountain, Henry Lew, and Ellie Mathews. He also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. 

Leo’s services and internment at Forest Hills Cemetery will be held privately.
