Leary, Leo N. of Quincy, died May 15, 2015.

Beloved husband of Eleanor (Connolly) Leary of Quincy. Loving father of  Cathleen M. Carney and her husband Kevin of Quincy and Bryan M. Leary of Bourne and the late David Leary.  Cherished grandfather of Kevin Michael Carney Jr. and Ian Patrick Carney both of  Quincy. Brother of Gertrude Norkaitis of Hingham and the late Lewis, John, Billy, Eddie, Tommy, Bobby, Richard and Joseph Leary and Catherine Dodge.  Leo is also lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Leo was Born in Boston.  He entered the United States Navy in 1943 serving his country during WWII.  Leo worked for Mason-Neilan as a machinist for over 40 years before retiring in 1990.  He enjoyed bowling, walking at Castle Island, Nantasket Beach and Cape Cod Canal and he a special interest in building model ships.  Most importantly Leo loved his family especially his grandchildren who he adored.  He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45am Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.

Donations in memory of Leo may be made to Xaverian Brothers, 4409 Frederick Avenue, Baltimore, MD  21229.
