Leo Lisinski of Weymouth, died July 6, 2018 at the age of 83.
Leo was a precision machinist by trade, who found his way into a career repairing and restoring antique clocks at South Shore Clock Shop, built adjacent to his home on Bridge Street in Weymouth. Among the projects he worked on were the Custom House in Boston, Independence Hall Clock Tower in Philadelphia, Adams Homestead in Quincy, the Longfellow House, Pilgrim Congregational Church in Weymouth and a restoration at the Kennedy Home in Brookline following a firebombing in the 1970’s.
He is survived by his beloved wife Regina E. (Moritz) Lisinski. Loving father of Verena I. Lisinski of North Dartmouth, Jens F. Lisinski and wife Heather of Weymouth, and Derek R. Lisinski and wife Julia of Scituate. Cherished grandfather of Alex, Abigail and Emily. Brother of Dorothea Neuss and Barbara Geistlinger, both of Germany, and predeceased by siblings Hubert, Josef, Cecilia, Gertrud and Christal. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Leo’s life will be held from 1-5 PM on August 19, 2018 at the Boylston Schul-Verein in Walpole.
