Leo F. Burke

Burke, Leo F. of Quincy, died March 27, 2018.

Leo loved his family, sailing, and traveling throughout the country visiting family and historical sites. He was a history buff, an extremely talented woodworking artist, and an avid reader. Leo was a Ham Radio operator, call sign W1SOJ, and a lifetime member of the Quincy Yacht Club. He was also a member of the IBEW and worked for New England Telephone for many years before retiring. Leo was a private man who was very honest and loving to his family and friends.

Son of the late Thomas F. and Emily (Connick) Burke. Former husband of Carol Sheehan. Beloved father of Cindy Conley and her husband Walter of Quincy, Tom Burke and his wife Peggy Lang of Duxbury, Stephen Burke and his wife Anne of Zebulon, NC, Ken Burke and his wife Mary of Easton, and Joanne Hull of Braintree. Loving brother of William Burke and his wife Theresa of Needham, Joseph Burke and his wife Pat of Naples, and the late Emily Burke, Mary Burke, and Eileen Burke. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the graveside service Friday, April 6th at 10:45 AM in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
