Lena M. Golden

Golden, Lena M. (Alley)  age 52, of Walpole, died on February 23, 2018. The loving mother of  Christina M. Golden of Plymouth and Michael C. Golden of Dorchester.

Daughter of the late Richard & Veronica Ally. Sister of Ginny Garton of FL and Patricia Coronite of Weymouth. Daughter in law of Dolores Golden of Quincy. Lena is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She grew up in Walpole and graduated from Walpole High School. She furthered her education at Northeastern University.  Lena worked for CNA Insurance company and then later worked at Boston Medical Center as a phlebotomist.  She enlisted in the Army National Guard, where she served for many years.  She enjoyed drawing, taking long walks, but nothing gave her more enjoyment than spending time with her children. She will be remembered as a devoted mother who cherished her daughter and her son. Lena was loved by all and will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday evening at 6:30 PM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lena may be made at YouCare.com.
