Bock, Lee Everett of Quincy, passed away April 28, 2011. Loving father of Phoebe A. Bock of Hanover. Son of Dorothy E. Bock of Houston, MO and the late John Earl Bock. Devoted companion of Maggie Shen of Quincy. Former husband of Daena R. Bock of Hanover. Brother of Cindy Skelton and her husband Jon of Iowa, John Bock and his wife Carissa, and Chris Nielsen all of Missouri. Lee is also survived by several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Lee was born June 15, 1960 in St. Louis Missouri. He was a bright child who was always curious and enjoyed learning his whole life. He grew up all over the world, living in Japan and Italy until finally calling Raymondville, Missouri home. Lee graduated from Raymondville, Missouri as Valedictorian and moved to Houston, Missouri. While there, Lee participated in his favorite things: basketball, debate, and science. Lee graduated in 1978 and joined the Navy. For the next 6 years Lee traveled the world underwater working on nuclear submarines. His final tour while in the Navy was aboard the USS Sturgeon. Lee enjoyed playing guitar and drums, and earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Lee loved being a father, sharing his love of learning and music with his daughter Phoebe. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, May 14, 11am-12pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 379 Gardner Street, Hingham, MA. A Service will follow at 12PM. Interment will take place in Salem, Missouri at a later date. In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to donate to the Lee Bock Scholarship Fund, Houston High School, Houston, MO. ,
