Lee C. Hamelin

Hamelin, Lee C. of Quincy , February 24, 2006. Husband of the late Frances P. (Dankowicz) Hamelin. Father of Dennis M. Hamelin and his wife Betty of Chula Vista, CA. Grandfather of Damon Hamelin also of Chula Vista, CA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Tuesday from 4-8 pm. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 1 at 12 Noon in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. WW II Army Veteran. Lee was born in Holyoke, MA. He lived in Brookline before moving to Quincy 44 years ago. He served in the United States Army during WW II and received a Bronze Star Medal for his service. After his tour of duty Lee also served in the National Guard for several years. Lee worked for Harcourt Binery Bookbinding in Boston for more than 50 years retiring back in 1983. He enjoyed bowling, was a true animal lover and took the time to feed the animals that would visit in his backyard. He loved the ocean and spending time at the beach.
