CORDARO, LEAH “Amy” (POPE), age 89, retired State Welfare Department worker and homemaker died in No.Chelmsford,on January 16,2006 after a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late Melio P. Cordaro, with whom she celebrated 64 years of marriage. Daughter of the late Rev. Ernest O. Pope and Amy L. (Rodd). Loving mother of Marie L. and Donald A. Jerpi of Ormond Beach, FL and Peter A. and his wife Elizabeth A. Cordaro of Dunstable, MA. Devoted grandmother of Michelle E. and Stephen MacEachern of Tyngsboro, Peter A. Cordaro,Jr. of Woburn and his fiancée Emily Lombara, Michael and Matthew Cordaro of Dunstable, Lori L. Jerpi of Pompano Beach, FL, Lisa M. and Matthew Paine of Cumberland, RI and Lynne A. and Jack Alt of North Attleboro. Loving great-grandmother of Victoria E. and Cailey S. MacEachern and Nathan and Owen Paine. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cordaro was born in Hull and lived most of her life there. She enjoyed making ceramics and for several years she was involved with the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. In recent years, she enjoyed being with friends and family, specifically listening to music on Thursday nights and actively attending numerous social functions. She was loved by all who knew her and will be sadly missed. Funeral from the Pyne-Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St.(off Central St.), Hingham at 9 AM Friday. Funeral Service in the United Methodist Church, 130 Spring St., Hull at 10 AM. Visiting hours are Thursday, January 19th from 4-8:00 PM. Burial will be in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
