Lawrence R. ‘Larry’ Lacey

Lacey, Lawrence R. ‘Larry’ of Hingham, formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away July 16, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Mary Angela (Doyle) Lacey. Loving father of Anne L. Stringer of Chester, Maryland, Patricia L. Mikus and her husband, J. Paul, of Norwell, Robert L. Lacey and his wife, Dawn of Phoenix, Maryland, and Margaret L. Bradley of San Diego, CA. Lawrence was the last survivor of thirteen children to the late John P. and Mary E. Lacey. Also survived by eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Lawrence was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and was a lifelong resident before moving to Hingham six months ago. Until his retirement, Lawrence was a Racing Official for the Maryland Race Track Association. A kind and gentle man, Lawrence most enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was loved by all that knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, July 19 in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10:30 AM. Burial will be held in Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday July 23rd.
