Lawrence J. “Larry” Cheesman

Cheesman, Lawrence J. “Larry” of Quincy, died March 6, 2015.

Larry was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era and a police officer for the town of Marshfield, before retiring in 1981.  Larry enjoyed fishing and spending time on his boat.  He also participated in several charitable motorcycle rides with his active and retired law enforcers to support various causes.  He will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Beloved husband of Maureen Cheesman (Carson) of Quincy. Loving father of Kara Wood and her husband Timothy of Quincy, Michelle Cheesman of Cedarville and Michael Cheesman of Marshfield.  Cherished son of the late John and Kathleen Cheesman.  Devoted brother of Robert Cheesman and his wife Ellen of Marshfield, Alice O’Connell and her husband Kevin of Marshfield and the late John Cheesman.  Brother in law of Brenda Cheesman of Weymouth.  Caring grandfather of 4 grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
