Mr. Lawrence J. Fell of Weymouth and Venice, Florida, died January 9, 2016.
Larry was born in Boston, a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Moynihan) Fell. He was a 1942 graduate of Hyde Park High School. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army Air Corp on April 6, 1943 and proudly served his country during World War II, being discharged on February 19, 1946. Mr Fell was a former milkman for Whiting’s Milk in Braintree and White Brothers in Quincy for many years. He then was a route salesman for A-1 Radiator in Quincy and also Central Auto Radiator in Weymouth. Larry was very active for many years at Immaculate Conception Church working the bingo program, a former member of the South Venice Civic Association and loved going to the beach. He always enjoyed being around family, especially his pride and joy, his granddaughter, Lisa.
Beloved husband of 47 years to the late Eleanor T. “Teasie” (Lynch).
Loving father of Denise Feroli and her husband, Jim, of Westfield, Lawrence Fell, WFD, of Hull, and Joseph Fell and his wife, Kim Dwyer, of Marshfield. Grandfather of Lisa Kriesak and her husband, Jay, of Westfield. Great grandfather of Emma Kriesak. Brother of Raymond Fell and his wife, Gertrude of Whitman, and the late John Fell, Richard Fell, and Walter “Buddy’ Fell. Brother in law of Louise MacDonald and her husband, Dr. Jeremiah MacDonald, of Weymouth. Dear friend of Helen Dangler of Venice, Florida. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street) Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke Trustees Fund, 110 Cherry Street, Holyoke, MA 01040-2829
