Lawrence F. Maloney

Lawrence F.”Larry”  Maloney of Hingham, died July 28, 2016, surrounded by the family he cherished, he was 63. The beloved husband of June A. (Hauncher) Maloney of Hingham. Loving father of  Matthew L. Maloney of Hingham. Son of the late Nicholas F. Jr. and Winnifred J. (Guilfoyle) Maloney. Devoted brother of Thomas  Maloney of Quincy, Rosemarie Simard of Woonsocket, RI and Patricia French of Glendale, AZ. Larry is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

A longtime Hingham resident, Larry grew up in Quincy before moving to Hingham back in 1984. He worked as a Systems Analyst for New England Telephone Company now Verizon. A former member of the Knights of Columbus, Larry enjoyed reading, skiing, movies, barbecuing and following the NE Patriots and the Boston Bruins. He and his devoted wife June truly enjoyed traveling visiting Mexico, France, Ireland, Bermuda, Florida and Montreal and San Francisco, CA, but nothing gave him as much pleasure as traveling to their home in North Conway, NH. Larry will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and friend who had a great sense of humor with his quick Irish wit. He was a kind hearted, generous and loyal man who will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
