Lawrence E. Norve

Lawrence E. Norvé, Jr. 56 of Pembroke left us suddenly on February 18th to be with Jesus.

Larry is the wonderful son of Dr. Barbara Curtis Coffey of Hingham, and the loving brother of Colleen Norvé Cheney of Hingham and Michelle Norvé- Reyes of Davie Florida. Larry is the very proud father of Christopher Norvé and Nicole Norvé, and former husband of Constance Stevens Norvé. Larry is the uncle of Ryan Sullivan and Curtis Cheney, also of Hingham.

Larry grew up in Hingham where he formed a life-long love of the sea, music, fishing and scuba diving for lobsters.  He was a passionate cook, and loved the bounty of the harbor of his home town. He graduated from Hingham High School in 1976.  Larry is Vice President of Professional Services for VFA Engineering in Boston. He was truly a man of integrity, with vast skills and talents. It was common to hear “Larry built that. Larry repaired my car. Larry designed that…Larry fixed it.”  His mind and his hands were always busy. Though he leaves many accomplishments, he will best be remembered as a sincere friend and an incredible Dad.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10 AM on Saturday prior to Funeral Services in Calvary Chapel, 175 Market Street, Rockland. Burial will be private.  

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Christopher Norvé and Nicole Norve´ Education Fund at Santander Bank, 9 Summer Street, Hingham, MA, 02043.
