Lawrence A. Pelosi

Lawrence A. “Larry” Pelosi of Quincy, died March 6, 2022 at the age of 83.

Larry worked as a machinist for Seymour’s Ice Cream Company in Dorchester for many years. He enjoyed walking on Wollaston Beach and Castle Island (where he also enjoyed an occasional hot dog at Sully’s). He had a knack for fixing things and had a great sense of humor.

He was the husband of the late Mary Pelosi. Loving father of Donna O’Regan of Weymouth, Kimberly Menchin of Dennis, Scott Pelosi of Weymouth, and his stepchildren, Robyn Day of Rockland, Catherine Erlandson of Plymouth, Kellie Snemyr of Mississippi, and William Cummings of Sandwich. Brother of Rita Vitrano of Weymouth, Antoinette Nuccio of Lynn, and the late Susan Ruggiero. He was the proud “Papa” of 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 9-11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) followed by a service in the funeral home at 11 AM.
